My computer has 2mb of memory, and I have more than 30% free yet. If the laptop works fine in safe mode you might have a software related issue. However, when left alone, Vista can't keep time worth a darn. Thanks ! I tried pressing the F8 button but the laptop just keeps making this beeping noise ! My laptop is hp 6735s 350GB, 3GB RAM.

It is not dead? What is the model number and make of your laptop? On my system as soon as I adjusted the date, then the clock would sync. Thanks for the help!

Deon Bosch November 27, 2007 | Hi there I have a Aspire 1520 laptop. To test this, open a command prompt as an administrator and enter "w32tm /resync" and see what error you get. If you have two sticks, remove them one by one and find out if the laptop works with one of the sticks, try installing memory sticks into different slots.
