No Network Connections/ Internet Win7
The same thing showed up in the taskbar icon for network connections: I've seen this problem on a couple of Windows 7 machines and depending on your system, there are multiple That's all the solutions I could find for fixing this problem. For example, if the machine running the application you are troubleshooting has an IP address of 192.168.1.115, put that string into the IP address field. Thank God, I believe I found something I didn't see anyone else even mentioning. If you see this, go to #2. The other options still have not worked as well(or not as well-I should say). nothing works. And get this...just yesterday I received an email (from my working laptop) from McAfee titled "Service Notification: Important Update for your PC". My problem was caused by an automatic McAfee Update on 8/18/12.

I find it strange that my IP properties are set to DHCP, I'm getting an address that looks correct when I do an ipconfig.
