Then did a clean reboot and installed (for about the 10th time) with the same result, with the update saying that there were the two updates(previously named)ready to download even though MANY MANY THANKS! I've tried everything I can but, this isn't windows xp any more so am at a loss how to fix it for her. May return to RAID5 if I locate a suitable HD.
