Media Player Won't Start


The log file shows that there are broken files associated with Windows Sidebar (which the user does not use) but none relating to WMP. It still won't open and says that I'm missing the codec. I'm pretty sure it's not a virus or malware and my laptop is relatively new (bought it this past September.)
