The Windows 7 install media also lacks the correct Intel series 100 chipset driver to support NVMe. How To Update Bios Do reply with results. It is not the only possible issue, selecting the wrong type of boot device (the UEFI type) in the boot list will also cause this problem -- seen it many times Hope to get an answer here.

At that time the only reliable work around I could find was to transfer the install files to a flash drive, make the flash drive bootable and do the install from I've gone into UEFI and changed the drive to IDE mode, but that doesn't work either. Your Keyboard input method will change to the most common used under the "Time and currency" selected, you can change this now if need be. Uefi The BIOS picked it up, and I was able to see everything on Windows 7.

also I did a change in the bios I changed the sata controller from ACHI TO ATA. Click next for "Automatic Harddrive setup using full capacity", otherwise click on "Drive Options" to configure the drive yourself. I did the same many years ago with XP, but Win 8.1 is so very different. power for one was plugged into the other and the same with the data cables.
