A few times a day the internet just seems to stop, pages stop loading, can't access networked PCs, everything just… freezes. Now I'm starting to wonder whether it stops responding and refuses to let me use any kind of browser. But if I suspect something has been compromised, I feel more comfortable with the Malwarebytes on demand scanner. I finally came across an updated driver for the Centrino Wireless n 1030. under dns put 126.96.36.1992 and 188.8.131.52 if that doesnt work, something is probably wrong with chrome.Click to expand... The problem is fixed.

Never had a problem like this with Windows XP, 2000, 98, or 95. To have lease line internet connectivity next i always have to enter default gateway manually which i didn't had to before. If malwarebyes finds nothing, you could also try OpenDNS server 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11. However, I've been having the issue whereby I'll be at the computer for an hour or more and the browsers suddenly refuse to connect to any website. All of this in safe mode.
