Then I downloaded a fresh copy of Firefox, allowed it to create a new profile. this cpu usage only started to happens after updating to 29 and then later 29.0.1, it doesn't happens on previous version. But after awhile with firefox, everything starts slowing down and even one window open takes 100% CPU when I click on links and evne when I'm scrolling its much less responsive.

  1. Unfortunately it's so intermittent (only happens to me every few weeks) I honestly can't pin it down to anything specific.
