PC Stops Booting When Show Grafic
Can you do me a favour and tell me what make/brand and the model number of your mother board is. When I finished, I powered up the PC, all I am seeing now is the manufacturer's logo. I also had an Intel CPU and an ATI card. What is the difference between "cat file | ./binary" and "./binary < file"? So basically it sounds like I need to find another computer with a decent psu to test my card before I send it in. Computer Powers On But Does Not Boot
A different model. My PC would eventually boot up after numerous power on/off. It could also be that some faulting PCI cards are causing this error. In the end it was a bad moterboard.

I have removed the ram and reseated same result. Pc Not Turning On If that isn't working either then it's either one of the above. I've replaced power supply, mobo, and processor. My Computer Wont Turn On And Beeps Installed graphics card, computer slows to a halt after start up. No mouse and no keyboard.
Use a rubber or eraser, and run it over the gold finger contacts of the grapgics card on both sides to eliminate any grease build up or foreign liquid or contacts

Now its not booting up any CP, I tried the BIOS settings to read DVD RW first and saved the settings, powered on the laptop but same thing happened. As I mentioned everything was perfect until a couple days ago, I am also out of warrenty so calling on HP would be truely expensive (£54 just to talk to support No luck - exactlty the same problem. It was devastating.
