As soon as the McAfee was gone, so was the problem. Disconnected and all was normal. Turned out to be two network mappings I had. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

It's only happened once since then, and again it was after I restarted. When I start up a game or anything that changes the screen resolution the computer freezes for about a minute every time until I reboot again.
